FUNCTIONS
- To identify struggling students early in the course and offer additional guidance and support services
- To identify academic and learning related problems
- To identify reasons for poor performance
- To reduce drop out of students without completing the course and reduce emotional morbidity among students
- To explore and ascertain the nature and extent of the issues and provide appropriate interventions
- To coordinate student support programmes by assigning 10 students to each faculty as mentor
- To inculcate in them good life style practices.
